@Robbie Stephey I don't remember what all the forms are, but you can find them online. Just call and ask what forms you need to fill out.

Yes. You can continue to recieve his benefits if his death is directly related to his service connected disabilities.

You should write to the VA Regional Office that handles your claim and request a compensation and pension examination. You should explain why you are requesting an examination. It appears from your comment that your condition is continuing to worsen. You should state that in your letter. Another possibility is to obtain a private medical opinion that addresses your medical condition. The expense in obtaining a private medical examination is something you would be responsible for – VA will not reimburse you for that expense.

Can benefits be paid retroactive from date of injury or just when approved by VBA?

My husband receives 60% disability from VA ( he did not retire from military.) If he dies, will I be entitled to any benefits?

The VA and their slow payments of housing allowance entitlement has caused me to be evicted twice. There is definitely a problem and if its true that they need more workers they should start a hiring campaign to employ more out of work Veterans, so they can get their sh*t together. This is very disappointing. Something needs to change ASAP.
